Safe in Place

Safe in Place is a division of Callaway Construction that specializes in Aging in Place construction. Aging in Place is a concept that goes against the common plan of today’s society of moving in to an assisted living facility as you become older. It is normal as you age that the every chores of living in a home can become more difficult to do. Items such as cooking a meal or bathing yourself used to be done with out a worry but now you may find them more difficult and you may put yourself in danger by trying to take care of your self with out assistance. What we hope to accomplish is to take the skills we have learned through experience, education, and accreditation and adapt your home so living your normal and independent life, and doing so safely, is once again a reality. At Safe in Place we can take care of the small items like grab bars, widening doorways and installing handicap ramps as well as full bathroom and kitchen remodels.
